Bragg Heavy Transport recently got to play a unique support role in the building of Los Angeles’ new football stadium, SoFi Stadium; which now serves as home for the LA Rams and LA Chargers. BHT completed the heavy haul of over 500 loads of steel from the Port of Long Beach over to the stadium for construction. This added up to over 5 million pounds of steel over the course of the project.
Using multiple types of trailers: 9 axle and 8 axle, flats, steps, double drops, MES trailers and dual lane trailers. Our team of 6 drivers completed the heavy haul of steel from the Port of Long Beach back to the stadium for construction. Overall, the process lasted two years, as deliveries came in, with every delivery operating on schedule.

In many cases, our trailers were making multiple heavy haul trips from offloading ships each day, planning to load, deliver and return to the ship in succession. Even with this tight schedule, all deliveries were efficient and on time.
Overall, the work Bragg Heavy Transport’s drivers, dispatchers, and support staff did over those two years was consistently efficient and safe. We are proud of the role we played in supporting this new development project in Los Angeles!
