BRAGG CRANE & RIGGING CENTRAL COAST REPAIR BURNED BRIDGE

Bragg Crane & Rigging worked on restoring the Triunfo Bridge in Agoura Hills, CA. The bridge was destroyed during the 2018 Woolsey Fire and was rebuilt smoothly by BC&R and their partners on the project.

In 2018, the Woolsey Fire destroyed the Triunfo Bridge in Agoura Hills. This was a vital piece of infrastructure for the community tucked back in the hills and after the fire caused so much damage, Bragg Crane & Rigging’s Central Coast office was glad to assist in its rebuilding.

Granite Construction ran this project and hired our Santa Maria based team to bring in the bridge trusses. Using our MLC-300 Crane in a heavy configuration, our BCR team set the trusses, weighing in at 105,000 pounds!

This job was uniquely challenging due to the fact that they only had a 10 foot radius to work with. Our team knew going in they needed impeccable coordination between all relevant departments to be successful. This project plan went through multiple revisions before execution to ensure it was done to the utmost safety standards.

“The team coordination with Bragg was outstanding and probably the strongest, most reliable part of the job.”
